On August 8, 2019, the opening ceremony of the 18th World Police and Fireman Games opened in Chengdu Shuangliu Sports Center. The opening ceremony combined the regional characteristics of Chengdu and the theme of the opening ceremony of this year's World Police Conference "Joy and Glory", creating a visual feast with a strong on-site atmosphere.
